The story of the perfume is inspired by the following tale:During the era of the Omani sultans, while sailing on spice trade voyages, some travelers would pass away, and the smell of the deceased would linger on the ship. To purify the air, incense was burned, which resulted in a unique scent aboard the vessel—a blend of incense, camphor, ship’s wood, moss, spices, ambergris, and gunpowder.
