At first I focused on the indigo roses, strengthening them and adding powdery notes. powdery notes, then I started to completely revolutionise the formula by removing the roses and hyacinth and incorporating an iris accord with new materials I had discovered during this project. After more than a hundred failed attempts, the perfume began to take shape, especially when I tried to combine bitter almond with iris. The perfume attracted the attention of my girlfriend, who adored it and claimed her 'signature' on it even before it was finished. From then on all versions of Dama have been tested on her, which is unusual as I am normally the one who tests the perfumes.'
